Art Show in Miami Beach

If you’re a lover of international art, it’s time to pack your bags and make your way to Miami Beach. Art Basel Miami Beach is an exhibition of international contemporary art, and just like its sister Art Basel in Switzerland, it is highly recognized as one of the most important annual events in art throughout the world.

Art Basel will feature art from over 200 galleries in the United States, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Art Basel is not the only exhibition in the area, so for the art lover you will also find many ancillary events at various art facilities and other public venues in the community.

Some of the special events include galleries specifically for modern art, a program of videos, a selection of 15 curved exhibitions on display in separate rooms of exhibition booths, and a group of 21 younger dealers who are housed in shipping containers on the beach. The display is open from December 6th to December 8th from 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.

While you are enjoying the Art Basel, make sure you take the time to visit the other art shows throughout Miami. This particular event takes place at the Convention Center, but you will find others throughout Miami as well as other shows within the Convention Center itself.
