Christmas at Epcot
The traditional Christmas shows throughout the season at Epcot have one additional event date this year. As a result, World Showcase becomes a splendor of international traditions and storytelling for the holidays beginning on November 30th and continuing through December 30th.
Children will be delighted as international icons of Christmas (Pierre Noel, for example) make their appearances known in their respective countries with Santa Claus himself appearing at The American Adventure. Guests can observe holiday traditions throughout the world including Hanukah and Kwanzaa.
After dark in World Showcase Plaza, Mickey Mouse and his friends will host a fabulous tree-lighting ceremony that includes music and storytelling. If you have a long shopping list, you can find one of a kind gifts that have an international flair to them in the World Showcase boutiques. All of the fun and entertainment is included with the price of regular admission to Epcot.
Holidays Around the World also includes a Candlelight Processional at Epcot with a musical performance by a mass choice and a full orchestra and narration by a celebrity who retells the Christmas story. A new addition to the event is having a celebrity narrator speak some portions of the Christmas story in Spanish.
This event is also included with the regular price of Epcot admission. There is also a Candlelight Processional dinner package available for an additional charge, which includes preferential seating to the Candlelight Processional. As with the other events, the Candlelight Processional has shows nightly from November 23rd through December 30th.
